Procedural Dust Generator
I always use some level of dust, fibers, and tiny specs over some of my renders. Specially for Close-Ups.
You can turn down the Dust and tweak the Fibers up (Increase amount and size) to make Fabric Textures to look more realistic. (See the indian pattern example image attached).
Add it mixed with diffuse/color maps, or on a material layer, without any reflection (High roughness) to better effects breaking the reflections and speculars.

- SBS Project included, so you can tweak the material at your taste and learn from it;
Use it direct on 3D as a layer over your material, or in substance designer, blending it over the basecolor. Adjust the parameters depending on your scale.
